HOW TO CONFIGURE PROXY SERVER IN WINDOWS USING CCPROXY

Hi Friends,

Today i would like to introduce a simple but elegant tool  to configure proxy server in windows.
The Software named CCProxy. Either.Either You can buy the software or you can download it from torrent.
First of all obtain the software from Internet and install it in the system which you would like to make as proxy server.after the installation it will appear like below



Click on the options tab.here you can select the services of the proxy server like Web, ftp,socks etc and it also allows you to use cached web which reduces bandwidth usage.


Input the ports you wish to use for various services. in the local IP address you can tick auto detect so that ccproxy will automatically detect the interface which has internet connectivity or you can untick and select the IP address of the interface which you wish to use for internet sharing ad then click OK.

Now open the account section.


if you give permit all then any IP address which use the proxy settings will get the internet connection but you cannot use web filter for filtering the sites. If you elect permit only, click on th new tab. then a new window will open.


For adding single User


For adding an IP range


after configuring these. Give the proxy setting in the hot computer browsers . Now you are all set.

 Hi Friends, 

 We all sometimes wanted to see full size image of profile pictures of some accounts of those who set the privacy to private. Here is a tip for you guys which enables you to see full size image of profile pictures of various accounts.

Install Windows 7 with a USB Memory

Method #1: Use Microsoft's Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool

  • Download Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool from here
  • Install the Software




  • Run the software.


  • Choose the image file(.iso) file which has to be written on usb.
  • In next step you will have to select the mode (ie, To USB or to burn a DVD).

  • Now to Chose removable disk.


  • Select Begin copying.


  • Once completed you should see the following dialog box.

  • Now you can use the usb to install windows 7 in your computer.

HOW TO USE A PROXY


Surfing with anonymity has become a growing concern for a large number of people. Proxies offer a secure way to view content online that may be blocked by your network or government. Follow these steps to start surfing anonymously.

Understanding Proxies

Understand the basic concepts of a proxy. A proxy is a server that you connect to that allows you to get “outside” of your network. You connect to a proxy and route your traffic through it, so that your IP is masked and traffic appears to be coming from the proxy server.

Know the different types of proxies. There are several types of proxies that you will run into as you research proxies. Each offers a certain degree of anonymity, and some are more secure than others. There are four main types of proxies:

  • Web-based proxies: The most common and easiest to use proxy. These are servers that you connect to through a browser do visit a visit a website anonymously.
  • Open proxies: These are proxy servers that are either accidently left open or are hacked. They are often not secure and can contain malicious software. It is recommended that you avoid open proxies.
  • Anonymity networks: These are private networks that are run by users donating bandwidth. They are often incredibly slow and due to the fact that anyone can host bandwidth, they are fairly insecure.
  • VPN (Virtual Private Network): These are private networks where you directly connect to a proxy server maintained by a proxy company or organization.
Using Web-Based Proxies
Find a list of proxies.A web-proxy is useful if you aren’t on your own computer because all the work is being done through the browser, so the method works regardless of your computer's operating system.

  • There are several websites that list proxies that you can use. Proxy.org is a great place to start that is constantly updating its list.
  • There's a good chance that proxy listing sites like Proxify will be blocked by a school or work network. Visit the site at home and make a list of 10-15 proxy sites to try at the blocked computer.
  • Proxies that are overused get noticed and blocked, so vary which ones you use on a day-to-day basis.
  • Using a proxy will make browsing significantly slower. This is because the traffic is rerouted through the proxy, reinterpreted and then sent to your location. Be aware that videos and websites may take longer to load.

Choose a proxy site. If the site is blocked, try a different one. When picking sites from a list of proxies, try using sites that are geographically closer to your location. This will help minimize the loss of speed.

Select the URL box. Enter the address of the website you wish to visit. Since proxy sites reinterpret the data of website you are trying to access, there's a chance that the site won't load correctly. Most commonly the video will not load. If this is the case, try again with a different proxy site.

Using VPN Software


Download and install VPN (Virtual Private Network) software. You will need administrator access on your computer to do this. Most VPN software requires a subscription. In return you gain access to thousands of anonymous IPs that you can use.
VPNs offer much higher levels of encryption than web-based proxies.
VPNs work with all internet traffic on your computer, as opposed to web-based proxies which only work through the browser. This includes messaging and file transfers.

Manually set VPN settings. If you’d rather not download the software, and would instead manually enter the connection details for your VPN, you can stup the VPN from the Windows control panel. Select Internet Options. You will still need to obtain an IP to connect to.
In the Connections tab, click Add VPN. This will open the VPN window. Enter in the IP that you are connecting to.
If your VPN requires a username and password, you will be prompted to enter it.

HOW TO LOGIN TO SETTINGS OF AN ADSL MODEM/ROUTER


Many of us want to configure our ADSL modem to change passwords of wifi or configure it when first bought but 70% doesn't know how to enter into it's setup page.My friends asked me this question many times when they encountered this problem .ADSL modem configuration is usually not done in software mode so people usually doesn't  know it.

  • Plug your modem's power connector
  • Plug all necessary connections(internet line,LAN cable b/w your computer and modem)
  • Check the modem's labels which says router IP,default IP. note down that ip address.if it not present in the label it will be"192.168.1.1" .
  • Now open any browser type the router IP if given or the IP I given.
  • The Browser will prompt for authentication, the default username and password will be "admin". If it fails the username and password will be in your modem's documents.
  • Once authentication completes, your are in modem's setup.Here you can change all values like ip address, wifi passwords and many other settings.Changes should be made with extream CARE otherwise your modem will fail to connect to internet.
You can enter modem's setup in command line mode also
  • Open cmd
  • Type telnet 192.168.1.1(your router ip).
  • Enter username and password when asked.
  • done your are in modem's setup.

HOW TO CHECK YOUR SMPS WORKING


Have you ever wondered about how to turn on SMPS without motherboard? When your system having a problem  to turn on you can use this method to diagnose the SMPS. Its an easy method to turn on the SMPS.

  • Open your computer's casing. Be sure that your computer is completely turned off prior to starting. Remove the screws that are present in the side panel of your computer. You need to remove only one side of the panel.
  • Remove the connections from the SMPS to all the peripherals of your computer. Please note that some connections contains a clip attached to it. Make sure to remove the clips before you remove your connections.
  • With your SMPS removed, take a paper clip and bent it in a shape of 'U' shape or you can take a small wire, remove to side's insulation.
  • Find the 24 pin connector from your SMPS (obviously it is the bigger connector from SMPS). Try to locate green and black wire. Please note, that there will be one green wire and many black wires. You can select any black wire you want.
  • Insert one end of the bent paper clip/wire into the green terminal and the other end to the black terminal.
  • As soon as you connect green and black wire the SMPS will turn on, if it not try with another black wire. If SMPS doesn't turn on then your SMPS is damaged.

HOW TO BYPASS WEB SITE RESTRICTION IN SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

Many of us are facing website restrictions in our college and schools like for Facebook and YouTube and other social sites. There are many ways to bypass this restriction.One way of bypassing the restriction was already discussed in my blog (LINK). Today I'm introducing a way on which restriction is bypassed by using a software.the advantage in using this trick is that it hides your public ip address from the entire network.

First of all go to the site ultrasurf.us and download ultrasurf software.this software does not need any installation and can be run in any computer and it is portable too so you can keep this in your pendrive and can use whenever you needed.

  • Now check your ip address whatismyip.com you can see your actual ip address.
  • Run the sofware, it will open an internet explorer window.
  • Now check your ip address it will show a different ip address and you can browse any site by bypassing all restrictions. :)
